Day #6 Persistent Inventory
I found new hope today. I couldn't for the longest time work out some bugs. But! It ended up being a matter of time. I currently have a bug with the web build where it doesn't save data to the player's computer. The data tells the inventory how many slots the grid has and which items are in which slot.
Good news:
-The player saves data on the executable build which shows the intended mechanics working properly
-The web build shows the grid now at least (with messed up item placement) *It may be because I first had some data on my computer that it then loaded.
I want to start wrapping up the inventory adding tool tips, item stacking and splitting. I'm following Game Development Center's tutorial loosely adding my own functionalities as needed. I adapted a fair bit but someone wanting a similar result, go watch him on YT.
