Day #18 Starting Level Design
Yesterday was another day I couldn't submit anything, but this time had to do with issues with my computer and it was out of my control. I started working on the main tileset which I laid out a bit in a test scene. It has some problems with the fence though. I think create a separate scene for those and it'd fix the Ysort and navigation issues I think.
I also added camera limits and world bounds. The former clamps the camera by giving it the position of the top-left and bottom-right corners, then it knows when to stop moving the camera / following the player. The latter will stop the player of walking off bounds.
The next step would be to add a house. I'll probably make it as a separate scene and make it have two states. One for the player being outside and the other for the inside. The inside will cut the walls and let the player see its layout most likely.
