"Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination" from the Stromlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson.

This is a "rogue-like" I made for the Brackeys 2021.1 Game Jam's Stronger Together theme.

You've entered a foorbidden area, and must tread carefully. Gather up allies while traversing this dungeon, and clear it of its corruption.

How to play:

Move arrows/WASD, select the player and companions with LMB and aim with arrows/WASD, and select the aimed square, again with the mouse to attack. It's more about timing and positioning, so let the enemy come to you and move slighly to avoid the attack.

*If you have problems advancing to the next level, close the game and restart. I've had it happen a few times that it didn't load properly and other that it did. I'm not sure why*

Art assets and code made by me in Godot and Aseprite, going solo for the Brackeys Game Jam.

Really nice concept...

I like the controls of the game.

But also at some point i was feeling like lost...

The enemy behaviour was also unpredictable.

It was a good concept.

Appreciate the feedback! If you finished the game, maybe check out the video I put in the page. I play the game from start to finish. The enemy AI gave me trouble, and just yesterday I thought of how I'd fix it... But I conceded on that front to make it in time
