IMPORTANT: Sometimes it gets stuck when changing levels, you'll have to restart. You'll now this happened if the player doesn't move and doesn't have any speach bubbles on top.
Many bugs were fixed, and although the build is not perfect, it'll have to do for now. To be fair to the people submitting for the jam. I only went for major bugs that would impact a player's ability to pass the levels!
Game developed for the LOWREZ jam 2025! It follows the "Player replaced by AI" theme.
Goal Oriented Action Planner (GOAP) AI
The player character's goals are:
- Roam: Aimlesly roams around when there's nothing to do.
- Eat: Once hungry, it looks for food and tries to eat it.
- Pocket Item: If there's an item in range, it'll try to pocket the item.
- Rest: Once tired, it looks for shelter and tries to rest.
- Escape: If it encounters unsurmountable danger, it'll try to flee.
- Attack: If it's stronger, it'll try to fight it out.
What can the Player do?
When available, the player will be able to select one of three cards and place items and other objects in the world.
Select a card and click in the desired position to place the object and/or entity.
These will be random and have a cooldown, use them wisely.
Objective
Guide the player character towards the level's exit and reach the forest's core and play to your heart's content in an expansive area (for this game's scale)
